Axel Sofa

Axel Sofa

Gijs Papavoine | 2005

The legs under the delicately cut cubist surrounds are almost hidden from view, as a result of which the couch seems to have no connection with the floor. The materials are made of the best quality. The height of the seat is chosen quite high in order to simplify the standing up. Axel has more than 30 possible combinations because of all the different sizes and elements. To the options of Axel belong also the large and small ottomans. Axel is comfortable also an inviting and cosy appearance.

Available in 2 and 3 seater.

Leg options include stainless steel sledge or 4 legged aluminium.

Montis keeps innovating with design that meets the needs of modern life—without making concessions in terms of comfort. In this process, the boundaries of artisanal traditions are pushed, and new techniques developed. By combining the ideas of renowned designers with those of up-and-coming creatives, we remain full of surprises—also in terms of sustainability and use of materials. That’s how today’s icons become tomorrow’s classics. That is our aim.
